Things to Do in Healdsburg, CA in November 2026

Gold and crimson vineyards, a historic first district election, Thanksgiving traditions, live music and holiday kickoffs β€” your chronological guide to the month.

November is one of the best months to be in Healdsburg. Harvest is wrapped, the vines along Dry Creek and Alexander Valley turn brilliant shades of amber and red, and the town shifts from crush season into the cozy run-up to the holidays.

This month also carries real civic weight: on November 3, Healdsburg voters elect City Council members by district for the first time ever. Below you will find election essentials, followed by every event in strict date order β€” from library book clubs and Little Saint concerts to the Thanksgiving morning Turkey Trot and post-holiday wine country gatherings.

πŸ—³οΈ November 3, 2026 Election Guide

Healdsburg’s first-ever district-based City Council election

City Council: Districts 2 & 4

Healdsburg switched from at-large to district elections, and the first two seats on the ballot are District 2 and District 4. Districts 1, 3 and 5 follow in 2028. You can only vote in the race for the district you live in.

  • District 2: Mathew Lopez, Scott Pratt, Alex Wood
  • District 4: Current Mayor Chris Herrod is seeking the seat

Not sure which district you are in? The city’s interactive district map will tell you.

Local Measures to Know

  • Measure H β€” Sonoma County Parks Sales Tax: asks voters to continue the existing one-eighth-cent sales tax (Measure M, 2018) that funds regional and city parks, trails and wildfire prevention, without raising the rate.
  • Measure AB β€” Sonoma County Junior College District Bond: an $830 million facilities bond for Santa Rosa Junior College campuses (55% approval required).

Statewide propositions also appear on the ballot β€” read the official voter guide before you vote.

Vote centers are open 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Election Day. Check the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters for vote center and drop-box locations. This guide is nonpartisan and does not endorse any candidate or measure.
